Thanks to the generous support from our sponsors and members, the Wayfinder Freight Heartland Awareness Tours are in full swing. The first tour was completed in Sydney on the 30th of September. Further tours are planned for Melbourne on 29th October 2024, and in Brisbane early 2025.
The Wayfinder Program is such a critical component to the growth of our industry. These tours allow us to engage with a potential workforce that is diverse and relevant, fundamentally securing the success of our industry long into the future. Our business is one of the most innovative, dynamic and rapidly changing industries on the planet. We need to be investing in programs to ensure the narrative of our incredible evolution is being told to a broader workforce community. The Wayfinder Freight Heartland Awareness Tour are at the very essence of this innovative investment.
Beginning at Amazon Kemps Creek, interested candidates will take a tour of some of our leading logistics organisations including National Intermodal Corporation & QUBE at Moorebank, DP World and NSW Ports at Port Botany, gaining valuable insights into the many career choices logistics and supply chain offer.

Melbourne – Tuesday 29th October: – TOUR OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
Beginning with a morning session and lunch with a tour of Linfox Distribution Centre at Laverton where you will partake in a Community Awareness Course explaining supply chain and freight logistics for people new to the industry, introducing the broad range of great careers.
You will also hear from young industry ambassadors and industry executives who will share their stories.
The Bus tour (returning to Laverton at the end of the day, with a drop off at a nearby train station) includes:
Bev Chain Distribution Centre – Laverton
Viva Energy Fuel Transport Depot – Newport
Victoria International Container Terminal Webb Dock – Port Melbourne.
